Role Responsibilities
In this role, your exceptional organizational abilities will be crucial as you manage a variety of tasks throughout the day. You will be expected to seamlessly transition between different responsibilities while maintaining focus on your priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices using MYOB, managing overdue accounts, and coordinating payments – MYOB experience is a must.
- Handling incoming calls and assisting clients with inquiries, often directing them to the appropriate engineering personnel.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and supporting the accountant during month-end processes.
- Ensuring accurate data entry into the company’s systems.
- Providing administrative support and general office assistance, including client interactions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in a comprehensive accounts role, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone demeanor.
- A preference for a varied role that combines accounting tasks with client interaction.
- Essential experience with MYOB and proficiency in MS Excel.
