The Role:

This Senior Manager position within our Group Risk Advisory and Assurance team focuses on providing expert advice and guidance on risk management and compliance matters. The primary goal is to ensure that AP+'s risk management framework aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for reviewing and challenging our Business Risk (Line 1) team's work while collaborating closely with the Policy & Compliance Team in Group Risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic risk management and compliance advice
  • Review and challenge business risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or advisory roles, with at least 3 years in a senior management position. Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices is essential. Proficiency in risk management software and tools is also required. Proven expertise in providing strategic risk management and compliance advice, with a strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements, is necessary. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong leadership and team management skills, are also expected. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, are crucial.
