Audio Communications Engineer Position

As a skilled Audio Communications Engineer, you will play a vital role in setting up and operational testing of audio/communications facilities for various field or studio projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all audio communication facilities are functioning and patched to be operationally ready by the scheduled hand-over time.

Key Responsibilities include liaising with project teams to ensure thorough briefing on production schedule, scope, and size of in-field audio and communications facilities required. Additionally, you will maintain a neat and tidy environment of the audio and communications facilities, ensuring they are professionally presented and pose no danger to the public or co-workers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A solid knowledge of Riedel and RTS communications systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with audio consoles, particularly LAWO and Calrec, is also necessary.
  • Operational experience and understanding of these devices at an engineering level are preferred.
  • The ability to work weekends and evenings is a requirement, given the predominant sport-focused nature of the role.
  • Minimum 3 years of television broadcasting experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
