Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to support the smooth and efficient processing of payrolls. This role is responsible for ensuring all payroll systems are up-to-date, payroll adjustments are authorized and recorded, and month-end and year-end close processes are completed.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting payroll delivery by completing monthly and fortnightly payrolls, including data entry, payroll processing and end-of-period reporting.
- Processing online leave applications, change requests, superannuation, workcover and salary packaging items.
- Ensuring accuracy in all payroll information.
The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge and experience in payroll operations, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, certified agreements and company policies.
Additionally, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are essential for this role.
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for staying across new legislation and ensuring payroll is processed as required.
