About This Role

Pacific Partnerships is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the development of commercial and technical solutions during the pre-contract phase of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).

This key role will be responsible for leading a team of development, technical, construction, legal and finance personnel along with external advisors to deliver high-profile PPPs in Australia and New Zealand.

The Project Director will report directly to the Executive General Manager and be accountable for:

  • Developing winning bid strategies and bid structures
  • Leveraging business development opportunities including client engagement through market engagement processes, industry briefings and unsolicited proposals
  • Managing client relationships and steering committees
  • Staying up-to-date on trends and market dynamics across the infrastructure sector
  • Contributing to a collaborative team culture that fosters innovation, development, and mentoring of talent
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business or Finance
  • Significant experience in a Construction or Operations contracting business with senior level exposure to PPP/Project Finance projects
  • A strategic mindset with a proven track record of successful execution
  • Previous bid leadership experience and management of privately financed projects such as PPPs
  • Excellent relationship building skills, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement
