A Senior Data Engineer is required to lead the development of data infrastructure and intelligence for a comprehensive cancer network in South Australia.
- Lead the development of state-of-the-art data infrastructure and intelligence for Cancer (CANDI) as a core enabler for the Comprehensive Cancer Network (CCN).
- Collaborate with clinicians, consumers, researchers, and analysts to integrate and standardize data assets, create faster data access, and improve time-to-solution for clinical informatics initiatives.
- Work on complex projects and services that involve data science, DevOps, warehousing, and more.
- Provide expert technical advice and build, manage, and optimize data pipelines for key data and analytics consumers.
- Deliver technical consultancy for solution recommendations and ensure compliance with data governance and security requirements.
- Proactively lead and develop staff within and outside the team.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and model design.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused environment with diverse stakeholders.
