Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management Expert to lead our Portfolio Management Office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, strategic governance, and business transformation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fit-for-purpose frameworks, tools, templates, and capability uplift materials to support the Portfolio Management Office.
  • Provide strategic governance and program management expertise to key initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of contemporary outcomes and benefits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify strategic and business improvement opportunities across the sector for delivery as initiatives, leveraging off strong relationships with key criminal justice stakeholders.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives across the organization, including the associated management and implementation of project outcomes through effective change management practices and benefits identification and realisation.
  • Facilitate planning, design, coordination, and delivery of cross-agency projects and lead the management of specific program and project activities in line with best practice project management.
  • Contribute to various strategic governance bodies, providing strategic portfolio management and prioritization advice and support to inform executive decision making.
  • Build strong partnerships across agencies by encouraging input from key stakeholders and represent the organisation at key forums.
  • Actively lead and support teams to embrace, promote, and embed change across the sector.
