Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Infrastructure Development Expert to support the implementation of a prioritization framework and improve investment planning decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and application of portfolio prioritization frameworks to enhance investment planning and decision-making processes.
  • Analyzing complex data to develop practical and transparent prioritization tools, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Providing expert advice on infrastructure portfolio planning, including demand forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and program balancing to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with senior executives and government stakeholders to facilitate workshops and briefings, fostering strategic partnerships and confident decision-making.
  • Developing organizational capabilities by creating tools, templates, training materials, and guidance documents to embed evidence-based prioritization practices.
  • Fostering collaboration across departments to embed disciplined prioritization practices, driving business outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Business, Economics, or related fields will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in government infrastructure investment planning or capital portfolio management, showcasing expertise in prioritization frameworks and decision-making tools.
  • Experience working in complex organizations or government agencies, demonstrating ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Background in public sector reform, business transformation, or applying prioritization frameworks in infrastructure planning contexts will be advantageous.
