Be a key player in driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in ANZ's largest and most innovative companies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team focused on increasing technology adoption of cloud computing by engaging directly with C-level executives and influencers at all levels.

As a member of our team, you will work with enterprise Public Sector and ISV customers, along with their account representatives, to qualify opportunities for GenAI / ML workloads. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Partners, and Marketing teams to drive opportunities to closure at scale. Your responsibilities include driving platform adoption, identifying use cases to transform business outcomes, and ensuring success at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong data and AI background with proven engagement with CXO level for data & analytics projects. They should be a self-starter, capable of owning, defining, developing, and executing a geographic plan while consistently meeting quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Help define the market segments, customer base, data use-cases, and industry verticals within ANZ.
  2. Contribute to the strategic business development plan aligned with regional and global strategies.
  3. Execute the plan while collaborating with internal stakeholders (account teams, channel teams, service teams, partner teams, support).
  4. Identify prospects and partners, communicating specific value propositions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
  • Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and segments.
  • Proven ability to grow customer relationships and expand understanding of their business.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity in a matrix organization.
  • Track record of engaging with C-Suite and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Experience with Public Sector customers in Australia & New Zealand.
