Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to ensure production orders are estimated, processed, planned, and completed accurately and on time. This role will liaise with all Production departments and Procurement on material requirements, stock requests and project work as needed.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and numerical reasoning ability
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain effective relationships with various people
Responsibilities
  • Provide support and information to sales, pressroom, and pre-press teams as required.
  • Build a solid working knowledge of label manufacturing, adhesives, and ink types to cost and review jobs accurately.
  • Provide quotations for incoming orders using best practice label costing configurations to ensure break-even for manufacturing promptly.
  • Ensure work meets high-quality standards, delivered on time within specified parameters.
  • Consult with the Printers & Production Team regarding actual run times, speeds, and material usage.
  • Coordinate the completion of production output and consumption journals.
  • Monitor warehouse and temporary storage items' stocks and raise new production requests when required.

  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion
