Administrative Services Director

Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking an experienced Administration Manager to lead the administration services across Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg. This permanent, full-time role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the administration functions of the hospital, ensuring they efficiently and effectively support the service and strategic objectives of the clinical teams and the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate administration functions to support the service and strategic objectives of the clinical teams and the hospital.
- Provide strong leadership in upholding Mater's Mission, Vision, and Values, aligning the operational plans of these services to the Mater Health Strategic Objectives.
- Manage all elements of these services, benchmarking to maintain efficient processes, systems, staffing, and knowledge that supports excellence in patient care and experience.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency through the use of technology, critical analysis, and redesign of administration processes.
- Collaborate closely with other Mater Managers to embed an integrated approach to services and strengthen Mater as a whole.
- Minimum of two years' experience leading a large team within a health setting.
- Vocational or tertiary qualifications in business or management; highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and provide appropriate team and departmental leadership.
- Previous experience in a comparable role.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment; desired.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- High-level office and information systems management skills.
- Financial acumen and detailed knowledge of health-related funding arrangements and terminology.
- Advanced knowledge of improvement frameworks and proven track record in continuously improving services.
