About The Role:
The primary objective of this position is to engage, support and provide guidance to Australian Apprentices and Employers in the workplace, aiming to improve the retention rate of Australian Apprentices overall.
This role requires regular interaction with employers and apprentices who may be experiencing difficulties in their apprenticeship relationship, as well as other relevant stakeholders. Daily travel will be necessary to successfully support all relevant parties.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until September 2025, based in the Sunshine Coast region with the ability to travel throughout the area when required.

About Our Organisation:
The Busy Group is part of The BUSY Group, a not-for-profit organisation presenting over 45 years' experience in skilling solutions and services to employers and businesses, job seekers and students, through apprenticeship support services, employment, education support programs, and vocational training.
Requirements:
- Qualifications or currently studying either social work, counselling or psychology;
- Formal studies in the area of coaching or mentoring;
- In the absence of existing suitable qualifications; prepared to undertake a Diploma of Counselling or similar within the first year of employment
- Experience in social sciences, behavioural sciences, youth work or a discipline relevant to community development and services;
- Proven experience in leading, motivating and communicating with a broad range of groups and individuals;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills - ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, gain their confidence and build a sense of mutual understanding of needs and objectives;
- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
