Salary Range: $42,500 - $59,400 per annum plus superannuation benefits.



About the Role


The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical services to mothers and babies within our inpatient mother-baby unit and outpatient private day program.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide skilled mental health clinical assessments and interventions to consumers admitted to the inpatient unit, including group work.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment, care, and assessments to consumers in line with our model of care.
  • Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, to provide expert clinical care.
  • Contribute to the development of therapeutic group content for outpatients and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Actively engage in research, education, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within Catherine's House.


About You


We are seeking an experienced Perinatal Mental Health Clinician who possesses the following qualities and qualifications:




  • General Registration via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Recent experience working within a mental health service or hospital system and being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide skilled mental health clinical assessments and interventions, preferably in an acute mental health inpatient setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work co-operatively with profession and multi-disciplinary teams, patients, and carers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Able to identify, develop, and participate in quality and service improvement activities that improve clinical services and patient outcomes.
