About the Role
This challenging yet rewarding position requires strong clinical expertise in child and youth mental health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse cultural context. As a Senior Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and manage a complex caseload. You will also contribute to service development, clinical standards implementation, and continuous improvement in care models.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessment, treatment, and case management for children and youth
- Contribute to the development of new service models and contemporary care approaches
- Implement and uphold clinical guidelines and standards
- Maintain high standards in clinical documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure integrated service delivery
Requirements
- Essential: Professional registration (AHPRA, Social Work, or equivalent), demonstrated clinical experience with children and adolescents, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, strong written communication skills, current NT driver's license
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in mental health, experience in child and adolescent mental health services
