About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HV Electrician to join our team at various sites across the Bowen Basin. As an HV Electrician, you will be responsible for completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a broad range of heavy mobile equipment, including CAT 777, 793, Liebherr, and Komatsu.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment. You will also have a strong understanding of HV switching and isolations, as well as experience with work management software tools, such as 1SAP.

About You

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
  • HV Switching experience would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment
  • CAT, Letourneau, Liebherr, and Komatsu experience would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience within mining is essential
  • The ability to work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail and procedure
