About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Director to join our team at News Corp Australia. As a key member of our commercial content team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic content solutions across print, digital, social, and video platforms for our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of Australia's most recognised brands, using your expertise in content creation to drive business growth and engagement. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team, working closely with senior leaders and creatives to deliver high-quality content that meets our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing commercial content strategies that drive business results and engagement
  • Working closely with our strategy team to develop proposals and pitches for new business opportunities
  • Leading a team of creatives to deliver high-quality content across multiple channels
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Managing budgets and costs to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of commercial content creation and its role in driving business growth
  • 7-10 years experience in content creation, with a focus on commercial content development
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in commercial content creation
