
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Case Management Leadership Role

This leadership position plays a crucial part in the executive management team, overseeing the development and implementation of operational initiatives to deliver high-quality client-centric outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to establish strategic objectives that align with the organisation's vision, developing policies, goals, and guidelines.
- They will provide technical advice on case management practice matters and establish operational procedures that impact activities and outcomes.
- Additionally, they will maintain QIFVLS CMO specific policies, procedures, guidelines, processes, and manuals in accordance with CEO direction and best practice.
- The ideal candidate will have managerial control over operations, involving planning, direction, control, and evaluation of activities.
- They will also ensure compliance with CMP standards and key performance indicators.
- Furthermore, they will contribute to the management of QIFVLS and assist with budget preparation.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cultural connectedness through the development of a cultural plan and improving cultural competence among staff.
- They will facilitate effective communication between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and stakeholders, promoting cross-cultural understanding.
- Moreover, they will evaluate the cultural needs of individuals and client groups within a legal service setting.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in case management, counselling, or social work is essential.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive relevant work experience in a leadership role in a similar sectoral environment.
- They must also hold a current driver's license, be eligible to work in Australia, and possess a willingness to undergo a national police clearance and Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) successfully.
