Community Engagement Professional Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead and support engagement project officers in community organising activities through a variety of ways, including collaborating with internal stakeholders and planning events.

Maintenance and enhancement of the client relationship management system (CRM) and databases are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Elders Voice and Youth Voice Coordinators to develop engagement strategies and assist with stakeholder communication.

This role involves developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders and promoting community participation in Assembly elections and policy consultation.

Additionally, the candidate will assist the Head of Communications and Engagement in election planning and execution, ensuring that community feedback is received and reported effectively.

About You

Highly skilled professionals who can develop community engagement strategies and manage events effectively will excel in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as comprehensive knowledge of Aboriginal Communities and organisations in Victoria.

Working effectively across multiple teams, possessing intermediate IT skills, and having MS Office proficiency are also essential requirements for this position.

Exceptional leadership skills, ability to motivate team members, and experience working in community development roles will be highly valued.
