Job Opportunity: Nursing Care Specialist

The role of a nursing care specialist is pivotal in providing exceptional care to older individuals, empowering them to live a full life. As a not-for-profit provider, we invest in delivering an outstanding experience for our clients and supporting the development of our frontline staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, planning, and management of nursing care for residents.
- Develop personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of residents, ensuring they are met and updated as required.
- Participate in quarterly care plan evaluations or more regularly if needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Complete and maintain ACFI claims accurately.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2-year experience as an RN within Aged Care
- Ability to set and maintain high standards in providing quality care and support services
- Capacity to provide quality care and support to frail aged people
- Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation applicable to Aged Care Providers
- Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends
- Understanding of ANACC, including assessments, documentation, and funding submissions
