About The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated McGrath Cancer Care Nurse: Breast, to join our dynamic Breast Cancer Services team. If you have extensive experience in breast cancer nursing, oncology, or palliative care—and a deep commitment to supporting patients with metastatic breast cancer—this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As The MCCN You Will Be Responsible For

  • Deliver expert clinical care, education, and emotional support to patients with breast cancer, with a focus on metastatic disease.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and excellence in care

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in breast cancer care, with at least 5 years fulltime equivalent post registration, with 3 years experience in oncology, breast care nurse or related discipline.
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Ability to provide tailored education, psychological support, and clinical coordination
  • Strong leadership and advocacy within clinical settings
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to accurate data reporting aligned with McGrath Foundation standards.
