  At Mercy Health, our residential aged care facilities provide exceptional care to residents across regional Australia. We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our teams in Albury, Young in NSW, Ballarat, Bendigo, Colac, Shepparton, Warrnambool, Yarrawonga, Myrtleford in VIC and Mandurah in WA.

Job Description
  Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our residential aged care facilities, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident-focused and clinical care. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualised care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery
  • Collaborate with carers and nurses to ensure continuity of care and effective handovers
  • Lead by example, demonstrating our core values of compassion, respect, and excellence in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in gerontology and aged care

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  Essential Requirements:
  • Recognised tertiary qualification in nursing and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience working in residential aged care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
