About the Role

As an integral member of our leadership team, you will oversee daily movements of rolling stock and ensure timely scheduled yard operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and managing production resources to execute the yard plan effectively.
  • Developing processes and procedures to optimize supply chain performance and schedule attainment.
  • Growing and maintaining knowledge, skills, and attributes of self and the team to achieve clear goals and objectives.
  • Providing advice, coaching, and support to operational employees to promote high-performance teams and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensuring business activities and employees comply with relevant legislative obligations and company policies.
About You

To succeed in this role, ideally, you should possess:

  • A genuine interest in leading, coaching, and motivating teams.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and influence others.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and confident decision-making.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A Certificate IV/Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

Experience in logistics, heavy industry, or yard operations is highly regarded, but it's your leadership potential, willingness to learn, and drive to succeed that matter most.
