About the Company:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our client's team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Demand Planner will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning Process, collaborating with Sales and Supply teams, and delivering an aligned monthly/rolling 12-month Demand Plan and Supply capacity review.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the Demand Planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team to review and create forecasts for existing and new products.
  3. Work with the Supply team to optimize inventory levels, manage short-dated stock, and ensure effective stock holdings throughout the network.
  4. Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure demand planning effectiveness.
  5. Develop and maintain forecasts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  6. Manage inventory requirements to support product launches and ensure contractual volumes are met.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage change controls and internal S&OP processes.
  8. Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
Requirements:
  1. Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Excel.
  2. Advanced planning and organizational skills.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Strong team player capable of working independently.
  5. Ability to influence staff at all levels.
  6. 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning in the FMCG industry.
  7. Experience in Supply Planning and inventory management.
  8. 5-10 years of experience in a food manufacturing business or a related industry.
  9. Experience using D365 and BI reporting tools.
  10. Excellent customer service skills, with experience working with internal and external customers.
  11. Experience working with third-party providers.
