Six Degrees Executive is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent in various industries. Our client, a renowned food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join their team.

About the Role

The Demand Planner will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning Process, collaborating with the Sales and Supply teams to deliver an aligned monthly/rolling 12-month Demand Plan and Supply capacity review. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Demand Planning process to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to review and create forecasts for existing and new products
  • Managing inventory levels, short-dated stock, and optimizing stock holdings throughout the network
  • Developing and maintaining KPIs to measure performance
  • Working with the Marketing and Sales team to review and create forecasts for existing and new products
  • Uploading forecasts to D365 and maintaining data integrity and accuracy
  • Managing inventory requirements to support product launches
  • Managing Change Controls and ensuring contractual volumes are met
  • Leading internal S&OP by holding demand reviews to review forecast, sales history, supply plans, and expiry risk
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
  • Advanced planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team player capable of working independently
  • Ability to influence staff at all levels
  • 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning in FMCG
  • Experience in Supply Planning would be advantageous
  • 5-10 years of experience in a food manufacturing business or a similar role in a related industry
  • Experience using D365
  • Experience in dealing with customers (internal and external)
  • Experience working with a 3rd party provider
  • BI Reporting
