El1 Finance Business Partner

This role offers a challenging environment and opportunities for career growth within a Federal Government Department.

The Assistant Director - Finance Business Partner is responsible for delivering financial advice in a timely manner with a customer-focused approach. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a small team, including work flows, performance reviews, and personal development plans.
  • Creating working relationships with various stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Supporting stakeholders with monthly forecasting and strategically utilizing financial information to advise stakeholders.
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, commentary, and full-year forecasts.
  • Engaging and supporting divisional area business planning.
  • Inputting financial information as required for divisional areas, including the annual report, senate estimates, and ministerial briefs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience leading a team and working in a similar capacity within a Federal Department or Agency, as well as experience using SAP or TechOne and a current security clearance.
