Empower Children and Young People as a Program Director

Our organisation is seeking a dedicated leader to establish and lead the Alternative Learning Program in Mount Isa. The successful candidate will support young people aged 10-16 and their families.
- Develop and lead a passionate team, providing professional supervision and ensuring high performance standards.
- Work in collaboration with local services providers, including schools, education institutions, youth justice services, and specialist supports.
This role requires:
- Proven leadership skills and experience, with the ability to build a cohesive team.
- A Bachelor qualification in Human Services or Education, or significant equivalent experience.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of family risk and protective factors impacting child outcomes.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and de-escalate complex scenarios.
