About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team at Johns Lyng Group.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to manage and coordinate construction projects, handle procurement, and ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with supervisors to engage, coordinate, and manage trades during the construction process.
  2. Communicate and negotiate with trades to buy down and track the progress of jobs.
  3. Liaise between all parties involved in the project works to ensure smooth delivery.
  4. Procure sub-contractors and suppliers to meet project requirements.
  5. Resolve disputes and issues as required to maintain project momentum.
  6. Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements.
  7. Ensure all inspections, certificates, and relevant documentation are signed off.
  8. Provide cost reporting and assist in organizing contracts, processing quotes, and updating variations.
  9. Ensure purchase orders and sub-contracts are sent out accurately and in a timely fashion.
About You

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor or Diploma in Building & Construction, experience in a similar role, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
