Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to perform various contract actions, including administrative and clerical tasks, to acquire and administer contracts. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with subsidiary policy and procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and contractual terms and conditions for assigned contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contracts for adherence to contract requirements
  • Negotiate all aspects of contracts and contract modifications with customers, including terms and conditions, contract delivery schedules, pricing, and performance requirements
  • Execute contracts within prescribed signature authority
  • Review solicitation requirements and provide analysis and recommendations to Contract and Program Managers
  • Coordinate proposal preparation and submission with the Proposal Manager, Cost Estimating, and Business Development teams
  • Prepare billing schedules, authorize invoice generation, and verify billings in accordance with the contract
  • Monitor the status of data and hardware deliveries and advise management of anticipated or actual delinquencies
  • Ensure timely submission and receipt of contract billings and payments, including follow-up on unbilled receivables or overage billings
  • Update contract databases in an accurate and timely manner
  • Negotiate and establish non-disclosure agreements with customers and other companies
  • Prepare sales orders to authorize work completion upon receipt of a signed contract
  • Close out contracts in accordance with departmental procedures

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A background in contract administration, law, or a related field is highly desirable.
