Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cash Control Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Cash Control Officer, you will be responsible for servicing the needs of our customers internally and externally, while supporting the Group CCO Manager in maintaining and enhancing a robust control framework across the group's CCO operations.
Key Responsibilities- Clearance reconciliation and preparation of Club banking
- Issuing and balancing floats, including keno, bars, and change bars
- Assisting with the preparation of ATMs and balancing at the end of the shift
- Providing advice and recommendations relating to process flows and reporting
- Balancing of all Club monies and monitoring and reviewing cash handling within the organisation
- Recording all transactions and maintaining petty cash records in accordance with club policy
- Minimising the club's cash exposure during operational hours and maintaining and coordinating the implementation of cash control procedures
- Performing any other duty reasonably requested
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Micros POS, and Clubline accounting software
- Strong hands-on accounting skills and excellent time management skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills with high-level accuracy and self-directed work style
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and willingness to travel when required
- Possession of a current NSW Liquor and Gaming RSA and RCG competency card
