Job Overview

The role of Senior Project Manager, Civil and Infrastructure, is a senior leadership position that involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery;
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve shared goals;
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports;
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of technical specialists and project teams;
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop and deliver project plans and schedules;
About You:

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Project Manager, Civil and Infrastructure, who has a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements:
  • A doctoral qualification in civil engineering or a related field, preferably with experience in project management and leadership roles;
  • Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects, including conceptual development, feasibility studies, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, build trust and credibility with stakeholders, and influence decision-making at all levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns and trends, and develop strategic solutions;
  • Experience with project management software, tools, and methodologies, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Agile Scrum;
  • Hold current membership and certification with relevant professional bodies, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
