Senior Design Leader - Residential Projects

We are seeking an experienced senior design leader to oversee and supervise our team of designers and drafters on Class 1 & 10 residential projects, including new houses, townhouses, extensions, garages, and sheds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and finalise drawings prepared by the team to ensure compliance with NCC (Vol 2), Australian Standards, and council requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in managing deadlines and quality across multiple projects while communicating effectively with clients or consultants when needed.
Requirements:
  • A certified/registered designer in Australia with strong knowledge of NCC Vol 2 + local council requirements.
  • Residential design/documentation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and comfortable leading a remote team.
