Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects across various disciplines.

Your primary focus will be on applying innovative and practical methods to drive the success of complex projects. You will source, build, and maintain strong client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing project management and governance of complex projects to achieve reliable project performance in terms of commercial outcomes, design solutions, timeliness, and quality.
  • Sourcing, building, and maintaining strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities.
  • Leading high-performing teams to ensure project team cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development.
  • Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure projects successfully to budget and client specifications.
  • Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline.
  • A chartered engineer (CPEng/RPEQ) with existing competencies with Queensland and national rail agencies, plus previous work on Queensland rail projects would be a distinct advantage.
  • Extensive experience in the management, design, and delivery of complex projects of national significance within multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
  • A proven track record of leading, motivating, managing, developing, and resourcing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to effectively engage key stakeholders to result in superior project outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
