Position Overview:

The Strategic Client Executive plays a vital role in overseeing the management, sales, and expansion of key client accounts. This position is essential for fostering strong relationships with strategic clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to fulfill client requirements and enhance satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while negotiating contracts effectively.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Utilize strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to drive client success and revenue growth.

Role Expectations:

As a Strategic Client Executive, you will be instrumental in enhancing our clients' digital journeys and expanding Merkle's business footprint. Collaborating closely with leadership, you will build robust partnerships with current clients and seek new business avenues.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafting ambitious customer strategies and solutions that lead to significant commercial benefits.
  • Contributing to revenue targets by identifying and securing new client engagements.
  • Strategically expanding existing accounts through the introduction of Merkle's services and technologies.
  • Monitoring and managing pipeline performance against targets to ensure revenue growth.
  • Taking proactive measures on engagement opportunities to ensure successful project capture.
  • Working alongside craft leaders and sales teams to align growth strategies and delivery efforts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in selling or delivering professional services, particularly in technology-related fields.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating professional services, especially in Adobe, Headless, Salesforce, and Digital Transformation.
  • A proven track record in client development and digital strategy implementation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate challenging client situations with professionalism and effective negotiation skills.
