At Shift, we're looking for a seasoned Credit Structuring Specialist to join our dynamic team in North Sydney. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about negotiation and problem-solving, who can drive meaningful change in our lending strategy.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in credit/lending/workout/insolvency, including credit analysis, customer engagement, and documentation. As a Financial Restructuring Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming challenges into opportunities by assessing borrower risk, recommending strategies for credit approval, and negotiating exposure restructuring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify restructuring/workout candidates based on pre-agreed criteria.
  • Analyse flagged restructuring opportunities with borrowers to assess borrower outlook and opportunities for improving Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD).
  • Recommend strategies for credit approval and negotiate exposure restructuring.
  • Document revised commercial agreements.
  • Monitor portfolio segments - Watchlist and Restructured Loans.
  • Reporting.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, depending on location.
