Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill a critical role in our child protection services.
About the PositionThis role requires an individual who can conduct thorough assessments, identify safety and risk concerns, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people. Key aspects of the job include:
- Conducting thorough investigations to gather accurate and comprehensive information.
- Engaging in collaborative practice that respects the culture and context of each child, young person, and their carers/family.
- Making evidence-based decisions that prioritize the child's safety, welfare, and wellbeing.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' frontline experience in statutory child protection services or within statutory investigation services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A valid driver's licence (P1 or above).
- A paid working with children clearance number.
