About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering tailored speech and language interventions to children. You will work closely with families, educators, and other therapists to ensure holistic care and develop individualised therapy plans that support functional communication outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of children's communication skills and needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans to address identified areas of need.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless care and referral processes.
- Provide regular progress updates to parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of their child's development and goals.
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology from a recognised institution.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent organisation.
- Experience working with paediatric populations preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
