This is a challenging opportunity to work in delivering statutory child protection services across Queensland.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team in delivering assessment, intervention, casework, and case management services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals, including community-based service providers and Indigenous family support services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality child protection services in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines.
- Build relationships with children, young people, families, and communities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement effective case plans to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor-level qualification in social work, psychology, human services, or behavioural science.
- Excellent communication, engagement, written, and time management skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination.
You will also need a valid driver's licence and the right to live and work in Australia.
