Pricing Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical professional to shape our pricing strategies and drive business growth through high-quality analysis.

As a leader within the team, you will provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports, promoting excellence and driving career development through the actuarial qualification pathway.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely pricing analysis is delivered to internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to direct reports in analyst roles
  • Facilitating career development and progression through the actuarial qualification pathway

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated work experience in insurance with general insurance pricing experience desirable
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience in tools such as R/Python/SQL/Excel
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for personal development as well as enabling team development
  • A passion for advocate best practices in general insurance pricing, actuarial analysis, automated portfolio monitoring and competitor price analysis
