This is a key role within our organisation, focused on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining effective safety protocols.
Main Responsibilities:- To implement improvements to current Safety Interface Agreements, guaranteeing adherence to Rail Safety National Law and Regulations.
- To drive the execution of unsigned interface agreements.
- Maintenance of the interface register for operations, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Organisation of regular meetings between key stakeholders and interfacing parties to address and resolve critical safety and risk issues.
- Documentation of meeting outcomes and provision to the Investigation and Regulatory Liaison Manager.
- Evaluation of onsite risk assessments with interfacing parties and review/update of existing Safety Interface Agreement Risk assessments.
- Conduct of Internal SMS Audits, preparation of reports including identification of RNSL gaps, findings, outcomes & recommendations as required.
- Continuous enhancement of the UGLRL Safety Management System.
- Input into SMS Safety Interface Coordination documents as necessary.
The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, safety or business, along with experience and/or qualifications in rail safety. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also essential.
