About the role:

  • Responsible for overseeing Work, Health & Safety programs ensuring implementation across the organisation.
  • Develops and implements WH&S compliance policies and SOPs.
  • Creates content for WH&S compliance training.
  • Leads national initiatives and project plans.
  • Ensures WH&S compliance with legislation nationally.
  • Provides follow-up from audits and ensures investigations are actioned.
  • Collaborates with leaders to ensure a work, health & safety culture.
  • Investigates accidents and provides advice.
  • Manages workers compensation claims to resolution.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Formal vocational or tertiary qualifications in Work, Health & Safety.
  • Accreditation as a Return-to-Work Coordinator / WH&S Representative.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role with proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Work, Health & Safety legislation.
