
Public Safety Network Coordinator

The Duty Manager is a pivotal role within the Network Operations Control Centre, responsible for overseeing the operational management of the multi-agency user-wide Public Safety Network.
- Leads a team of NOCC Operators, managing workload and priorities effectively.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all network-associated services and systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Effective incident and problem management, including proactive event response to prevent service interruptions.
- Manage live cases, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions in critical situations.
- Escalation and emergency contact duties, directly liaising with external agencies as required.
- Post-qualification experience in an operational or technical environment, preferably in IT, telecommunications, or NOC network management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- ITIL IT Service Management certification and leadership skills.
- Relevant degree qualifications in electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or business management, or equivalent knowledge.
- Australian citizenship for security clearance purposes.
