Job Title

Network Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Management:
    • Oversee the daily management of Rex network operations.
    • Collaborate with all ports to ensure timely and accurate flight information is communicated.
    • Monitor flights for On-Time Performance (OTP) and record and report delay reasons.
    • Monitor weather and NOTAMs impacting operations and escalate or act on risks accordingly.
    • Coordinate network disruptions with other Network Operations Centre personnel, formulating disruption plans to minimize passenger and operational impact.
    • Manage aircraft turnarounds in Sydney, including bay allocation and fuel ordering.
    • In emergencies, initiate the company response plan and support the Regional Express Emergency Response Team as directed.
    • Perform other operational duties as directed by the Network Operations Manager or Supervisors.
  • Slot Allocation:
    • Manage arrival slots through Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM), minimizing network delays.
    • Manage departure slots in Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) environments.
  • Crew Scheduling:
    • Ensure crew compliance with regulatory requirements, including Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and applicable enterprise agreements.
    • Manage crew coverage for sickness, operational disruption, or additional training requirements.
    • Arrange crew positioning, accommodation, and meal entitlements.
    • Work with Rostering and Crew Planning teams to address training disruptions or qualification requirements.
    • Support crewing-related disruptions as part of an integrated Network Operations response.
    • Perform other crewing duties as reasonably directed by the Network Operations Manager or Supervisors.
