Public Programs Coordinator

The Museums Aotearoa is seeking a highly skilled Public Programs Coordinator to deliver high-quality programs and events that engage broad audiences.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on a range of initiatives showcasing the best of contemporary public programming within a museum setting.

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of contemporary public programming, able to lead programming processes from development to implementation in consultation with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public programs and events that align with the organization's strategic goals
  • Work closely with artists, partner organizations, and specialists to deliver outstanding programs
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of programs and events
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects showcasing the best of contemporary public programming
