Job Title: Perinatal Nurse Specialist

About The Role

We are seeking skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in our Maternity and Gynaecology Service.

You will be responsible for delivering holistic, person-centred care that meets the unique needs of surgical patients on flexible surge beds.

  • Provide efficient and effective care that prioritises patient comfort and safety.
  • Advocate for patients to empower them in making informed decisions about their care.
  • Communicate clinical interventions and service delivery processes clearly and transparently.
  • Facilitate timely discharges by coordinating referrals and follow-up care.
  • Support the professional development of colleagues and students through supervision and mentorship.
  • Be prepared to adapt to changing priorities and redeployments as needed within the K3 gynaecology beds or other areas.

Ongoing education and support are provided through regular training sessions, a Clinical Nurse Educator, and access to hospital-wide resources.
