Job Title: Anatomical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Anatomical Pathologist to join our Perinatal and Paediatric Pathology Team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Responsibilities will include performing perinatal autopsies as well as reporting surgical specimens from paediatric patients.
  • They will also participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities commensurate with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.

This is a Category A position, and all applicants must read and understand requirements outlined in Policy Directive PD2024_015 Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against specified diseases.

Requirements:
  • Strong contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
