Optimising Pricing Opportunities

This role is crucial in delivering the best price and range offer to our customers. As a key member of the analytics team, you'll support the optimisation of pricing opportunities with a strong focus on building continued price trust with our customers and maintaining competitiveness in the market.

The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner to stakeholders across various divisions, including Buying, Finance, IT & Strategy, and Commercial teams. They'll contribute to the knowledge environment within the Pricing & Customer Value team and the broader Buying team by training team members and business partners in new concepts and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Framing problems, gathering and analysing complex data, and developing insights and recommendations to support the Pricing & Customer Value team's mandate within the business.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to the Commercial team by injecting analytical rigour and innovative thinking into the issues the business faces.
  • Scoping, developing and maintaining various solutions for the business, including models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Contributing to the development of actionable insights and recommendations through the analysis of large data sets.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years experience in a data analytics role where you managed large data sets and developed complex analysis.
  • Strong database management experience, ideally using a system such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery / Tableau / Dataprep).
  • Advanced in MS Excel (including modelling) / Google Sheets and MS PowerPoint / Google Slides.
  • Proven ability to draw on data and analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
