Our team is dedicated to building lasting relationships with business owners, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. As an Account Executive in our Sales team, you'll be a champion for their needs and a supporter of their business.

This position requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for people and their business. You'll thrive on going above-and-beyond to support a variety of merchants, by being a partner and advocate for their growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Build deep relationships with business owners, understanding their pain points and requirements.
  • Formulate effective solutions to exceed customer expectations, driving revenue growth and expansion.
  • Manage leads and deals pipelines with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from planning to closing new deals.
  • Translate complex financial and payments problems into clear and compelling solutions.
  • Collaborate with members across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to relay product feedback and drive business outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Senior Business Development Representative or SMB Account Executive.
  • Proven ability to exceed quarterly goals and drive revenue growth.
  • A strong commercial mindset, with demonstrated ability to successfully manage and grow revenue.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or at a distance from your team.
  • Genuine curiosity and passion about people and their business.
  • Demonstrable experience in prospecting, identifying target merchants, evaluating buyer interest, qualifying, creating value-based demonstrations, selling complex solutions, writing proposals, objection handling, and negotiating.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
  • Resilience in the face of adversity, and an underlying comfort in ambiguity.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A healthy entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
