Business Development Manager Opportunity

Are you seeking a business development role that offers variety and challenges your entrepreneurial spirit?

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships, tracking tenders, creating brand awareness, and supporting marketing activities.

Job Description:
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with developers, civil contractors, and commercial builders
  • Build and maintain relationships across the construction industry in Queensland
  • Engage in face-to-face networking, site visits, outbound calls, and industry events to generate leads
  • Maintain regular communication with current and prospective clients to understand tender and opportunity management
  • Monitor tender portals and industry platforms daily for new opportunities
  • Track all tender activity including EOIs, RFQs, submissions, and outcomes
  • Liaise with internal teams to assist with pricing opportunities and managing submission timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a business development client relationship or sales role, preferably in construction or a related field
  • Understanding of tendering and project workflows for commercial-scale construction
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and written communication
  • Ability to think creatively about where and how to source new business
