Support Worker Opportunity

As a support worker with our organisation, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building positive relationships with clients, providing quality in-home and community support, and promoting participant choice and control. You will also assist with daily living tasks, provide mobility assistance, and offer personal care with dignity.

You will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualised care plans, documenting their changing needs and following care protocols to support their independence.

Additionally, you will drive clients to appointments, events, shopping, and family visits, as well as assisting participants in achieving their goals in line with their NDIS plans.

Key Requirements:
  • A reliable and insured vehicle for transportation supports
  • First Aid Training
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Comfortable reporting using digital platforms
  • A good understanding of person-centred support
  • Ability to support clients with intellectual/physical disabilities, high medical needs, or mental health conditions
