We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team of support workers, committed to empowering people with disabilities to live dignified lives.

About the Role

Servicing People with Disabilities

Our Disability Support Workers empower people with disabilities to live life on their terms, making choices about how they choose to live, and when they choose to live. By providing individually tailored support services, we enable people with disabilities to participate fully in their community.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
- Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
- Track and maintain records of client progress
- Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families
- Provide in-home support and domestic assistance

Requirements

- Patient, flexible, and understanding
- Supportive and caring nature
- Commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live dignified lives
- Able to accept responsibility and work in a team
- Good communication skills

Skills & Experience

- An unrestricted New South Wales driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on mobile and desktop
- National Criminal History Record Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
